The Meopta MeoSight IV
Weighing just 1.2 ounces, the MeoSight IV is the company’s smallest reflex red dot sight to date. Correspondingly, with a height of 1.22 inches, the sight maintains a low profile. Featuring aircraft-grade aluminum construction, the MeoSight IV can hold up to hard use and keep going.
Operating on a single CR 1632 3V battery, the sight has a battery life of 30,000 hours. However, an auto-off function automatically shuts the optic off after four hours of continuous use if the function button has not been touched. Likewise, the illumination feature has a manual or automatic mode. As a result, you have complete control over the five different brightness intensity levels. When it is time to change the battery, a top-loading battery compartment allows you to swap it out without removing the optic and losing zero.
The MeoSight runs a 3 MOA dot with a 120 MOA range of elevation and a 120 MOA range of windage adjustment. It is compatible with standard-size optics-ready pistol systems using the Meopta/Docter mounting plates. However, it also comes with a Picatinny rail mount, so you can mount it to a rifle for dedicated close-quarter target acquisition when coupled with a primary riflescope.
